Tom Felton was born Thomas Andrew Felton on September 22nd 1987. Tom is an English actor and musician. Tom started filming commercials at the age of eight and was appearing in films by the age of ten. His first movies include The Borrowers and Anna and the King. Tom auditioned for the role of Draco Malfoy at the age of twelve.
Tom became known internationally for his role as Draco Malfoy. Draco is the bully and enemy of Harry Potter. He had auditioned for the roles of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley as well. Tom had had the most film experience of the four main characters chosen for the Harry Potter films. Tom has appeared in all of the Harry Potter movies.
Tom started his own official fan club in 2004, the Official Tom Felton Fan Club. His fan club became so popular that he had to put a temporary stop to people signing up to the fan club.
When asked what a kid should do if they are being bullied Tom replied that they should tell someone, it is not something you want to keep to yourself. November 11, 2005 Tom and Rupert Grint presented Liz Carnell with the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Award. This was to honor all of the work she has done to raise awareness of the dangers of bullying.
Tom has posted three music videos on YouTube under the Feltbeats account. In these three music videos he performs parts of original songs. A total of nine songs have been re-recorded and can be found on iTunes. Tom has also recorded an album, which is also available on iTunes and at Amazon.com and is named In Good Hands. It includes the six original songs.
Tom played for Soccer Aid in September 2008 on the England team. And we are looking forward to seeing Tom in the thriller The Apparition which is currently in production.
