Tom Felton is best known for his role in the extremely popular “Harry Potter” movie series which was originally a set of books by J.K Rowling. He first started acting in a number of commercials and eventually won a role that 400 actors went out for but did not get. One of the roles that Felton received involved his being in the middle of Times Square in New York City and another one for Barclay card. The first feature-length film that Felton was cast in was filmed in 1997 and it was called “The Borrowers”; he played the character “Peagreen Clock” and it was an immense triumph for him at the time, paving the way for a career in film.
Another film that Felton starred in at a young age was “Second Sight” in 1999 with Clive Owen. Felton’s career in film really started to take off when he got the role of Draco Malfoy in the very first Harry Potter movie. The franchise of extremely popular films lasted all the way from 2001 to 2009 and throughout that period of time his film career only grew larger. He has stated that one of his favorite hobbies is fishing; he had a hand in starting the World Junior Carp Tournament and he has said on numerous occasions that it is a great passion of his.
