Tom Felton is best known as Draco Malfoy in the legendary series of Harry Potter. Harry Potter was an adaptation of one of the most re-known author of fantasy novels J.K. Rowling. Born on 22nd September 1987, Tom Felton started appearing in commercials at a tender age of 8. His first commercial role was in a coveted advertising campaign where he worn to play the part over other 400 young actors who had applied. He later on appeared in New York’s Time Square in a commercial union production. He continued playing a series of roles in commercials and a television series, Bugs until when he got his first film role. His debut appearance in film was in the Anna and the King and The Borrowers at the age of 10.

The most important point in Tom Felton’s career is when he played the role of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series in 2001. Subsequently, he appeared in all the other Harry Potter films until 2009. In Harry potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Tom Felton fits in portraying Draco Malfoy, the enemy, bully and Harry Potter’s foil.
During the audition, where he had intended to play both Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, out of the four contestants, Tom emerged the right character owing to his brilliant talent and experience.
Besides being an actor, Tom Felton is also a singer. He has three music videos on you-tube where he performs some of his original songs while nine songs have now been recorded and are accessible in iTunes. Some of the songs include Right Time, Right Place, In my Arms, I’ll be there, All I need and an instrumental entitled Silhouettes in Sunsets.
Other movies that he has played a role in include The Dissapeared, 8 out of 10 cats (a comedy and have been said to appear in the forthcoming Movie Get Him to the Greek.
